La Shawn brings a rare mix of technical skills, psychological insight, and creative drive to BEESY. She is curious, intentional, and focused on building AI tools that are both powerful and people centered.
Her interest in healthcare and human behavior led her to earn a BA in Psychology on the pre-med track. She later pursued a MA in Translational Medicine, combining science and engineering with real-world impact.
Most recently, she worked as a contractor with Outlier.ai, helping train and improve the accuracy of STEM-focused AI models. Her background in both psychology and artificial intelligence gives her a strong foundation in understanding how people machines learn. She uses that knowledge to design AI systems that enhance workflows, support strategy, and work for the people who use them.
Outside of work, you can find her sketching, dancing, exploring new places, solving puzzles, or playing her favorite sports.
